What was your greatest Carolina moment/ play ever??

Remember when, uh, Sir Purr dove on that live punt in the endzone and got his mascot ass reamed by the official? Classic fail.

Srsly, going with the x-clown moment, because two overtimes, and we had won that game (Kasay FG then penalty), then lost it (gimmie FG by Jeff Wilkins that he missed), then won it again. I was completely exhausted after that one. What euphoria.

Steve Smith busting loose against the Texans...

This. I was there in person to see it, it was toward the end of a losing game when most of the corporate attendees had already left, and only fans were sticking around. The place was half empty but still went nuts like it was full. It was an awesome moment.

Besides all the obvious ones, and I'm thinking of just plays here.

Bob Christian TD run in the hall of fame game against JAX 1995, first Carolina Panther TD!!

Steve Beuerlein QB draw against GB I think it was.

Steve Smith Breaks 10 tackles against the Houston Texans in blowout loss, shows Smitty fights no matter what the score is. he's like the Tasmanian devil out there.

Edit: cant believe I omitted...

Greg Frye getting knocked the Fugg out by my man, Beason!!!!! Then getting away with it, and winning a dollar claim in the end.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
