No way Pilares gets drafted by us, and doesn't make the team. They at least give him some time to adjust to the NFL.

And Armanti isn't going anywhere. The potential is just too great to let go. I know he was originally a project WR, but with his drive this offseason, what he's doing currently, and his ability to actually make throws in Wildcat form, there is no way he gets let go.

Pilares can be stashed on Practice Squad or on IR with a mystery injury.

Yeah that was my question to him that he danced around. Why is it okay to discount the good camp Armanti is having by saying it's a controlled environment but ignore the bad camp that LaFell is having in same controlled environment.

BTW, being the 3rd leading receiver on a team which is known for having 1 receiver is not a good thing.

Again, he won't get cut because he was a high draft pick but he's not very good. He just doesn't fit what we are doing now.

There are many Armanti haters on this board. Most have had to stfu because of the very good camp performance of AE and the amount of positive press on him. Therefore the still vocal haters are reduced to such comments about controlled environments/pad weight/body weight/yeah but..., etc.

      Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.

      Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.

      I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
