If you live out of state and still don't have direct TV shame on you.

I bagged cable/sat three years ago. All the networks stream everything for free, NCAA Bball on ESPN3, NHL sells a streaming package, everything else is on Netflix...except for the NFL. That's why we have sports bars. :)

Yeah, you know what sucks? Living on the west coast and having to drag your ass out of bed to go watch the game at a sports bar that just opened and has practically no one in it. Ah, morning beers.

I called DirecTV and the first two people I talked to said they were not negotiating the price AT ALL on Sunday Ticket this year because of some price raise during the lockout. I call BS. On the 3rd call I finally got the guy to knock it down to six payments of $33 instead of six payments of $53. I'll take that in a heartbeat. Thats around $12.50 a game, which is way cheaper than going to the sports bar and getting a pitcher of good beer ($12), sammich ($5), fries ($4), gas ($5) and not being able to hear the game because the volume is stuck on the 49ers game. F that ish. I'll take the 60" flat screen, pause button, stadium surround and ample beer in the fridge.

Its so sad to to hear them 49er fans cheer every time they get a field goal. Maybe now that they got a good coach they can start being like they were when I was a kid.

I currently live in Aaron Rodgers home town and its hilarious cause the Packers fan is usually as loud as the Raiders/49ers game. U see Alex smith picked 1st overall and then u get to see Rodgers picked 24th overall and shake your head over how bad the 49ers missed that year.

Now that the preseason is upon us, with games starting tonight and Panthers on Saturday, just a friendly reminder not to ask for links to online streams of the games in the forums. Any link published in the forums can result in fines or shutting down of the site entirely.

BTW 'that site' has been seized by the feds lol

    • Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.
    • I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
    • Something like 24 now. The first 6 minutes were fun, after that, oh man. It was cool tho, a near capacity, with both teams well supported.
