Obvious positions of Need.

#1 CB

#2 WR

#3 DT

#4 OL

#5 CB

Let give ourselves a healthy 6-10 Record.

Which should put us in back half of top 10.

Some names to keep your eyes on.

WR- http://walterfootball.com/draft2012WR.php

Justin Blackmon-WR

Alshton Jeffrey-WR

CB- http://walterfootball.com/draft2012CB.php

Dre Kirkpatrick-CB

DT- http://walterfootball.com/draft2012DT.php

No one at DT makes me excited right now.

Curious is Crick can show talent at Nebraska, Miami kid could be something of an Athletic freak. DT's underwhelm me.

Just some food for thought with CFB season coming.

Depending on health..OT could be our #1 priority.

Very true. If Otah bombs out and we're set on moving on from him I wouldn't mind drafting a top end LT and moving Gross to RT, which would extend his career.

Also, I can see DE being a big need if E.Brown continues to get abused and neither of the 2nd year guys (Norwood/Hardy) step up.

LOL Sh*t we could be really staring at a long list of needs. Hopefully both Cam AND Clausen look amazing and we can bend some team over in a trade with one of them.

Being a SEC guy, I have seen Kirkpatrick play. I will say this he puts up some good numbers but I think he is a bit overrated. He has all the tools and potential to be a top CB but I don't think I can say he is the best in the 2012 draft. He kind of came out of nowhere and I believe he started at CB only just last year.

Janoris Jenkins is a better corner in my eyes. Jayron Hosley is a better corner in my eyes. Not hating on Kirkpatrick at all but all this love for him has come as a surprise. I guess a lot of it has to do with potential.

As far as wide receiver goes I am on board for either Blackmon and Jeffery. I haven't really seen a whole lot of full games with Blackmon and their 30 year old quarterback but know he is explosive. Jeffery originally was going to USC so you know what type of potential he had. Both WRs are better than Julio Jones in my mind but worse than AJ Green.

    • The Bucs waived shilo sanders after he got ejected.
    • I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC
    • Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. 🙃   Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
