It wasn't done in an arrogant manner. It was more done in a reflective way. Like when we see ourselves do something and say "blank, why did u do such a stupid thing."

I swear it seemed as if everything Cam did, the media pick it apart. I'm sure if he picked his nose, they would have turned that into a topic of conversation for weeks..:rolleyes:

the two quotes that made the biggest splash were "everybody knows Cam Newton ran a spread offense" and "With Cam Newton or without, the NFL will be."

I didn't like it much but whatever, I don't expect him to speak perfectly and overall he does very well in interviews IMO.

What do you want to see?

I want to see:

o Cam/Chudz more focused on sustaining drives, I love the aggressive mindset and I still want them to take shots downfield but I want to see more efficiency--I want to see Cam turn down some low percentage downfield throws and check it down to move the chains

o I like the shotgun as much as the next guy and I understand that's where many of Cam's plays will comes from and that's where his comfort level remains.

But, I think rhythm drop back passing can help a QB because the throws become muscle memory linked to the drop back and imo it helps a QB throw on rhythm.

Longwinded way of saying: More rhythm drop back passing 5-7 step.

o Maintain more consistent balance and don't allow follow through to be effected by a pressure/cluttered pocket

o Recognize when to hit the hot read to beat the blitz

o Complete some passes in the middle of the field

I've stayed out of plenty of Cam threads but when people act like this pretty boy has close to the "brawler" mentality that Steve Smith does, it just adds to the BS that's posted around here constantly and I'm going to respond.
