How long until Smitty gets into Cam like the 'drillin' Clausen took last year for the bad throws or does he get a reprieve since they're "best buds"

Cam targeted Smitty what 9 times? That is the difference.

3 where pretty good throws including the shot to the endzone. Smitty didn't see that type attention in 4 full q last year.

yeah, you guys have got to take it easy on the new coach and team. after all remember how long it took Saints, Falcon and Bucs to transition to a decent team after they shook up their organisations. Sarcasm on

Fox's first camp was ball-busting. I know the CBA had changed things, but I'm not sure Rivera is the deciplinarian that I thought he was. If he's not chewing these guys out after thsee past two games, then he's definitely not the coach I imagined in terms of a strict, hard-nosed guy.

      I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.

      Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
