hey, if I can eliminate 2 of the 5700 "Oh my gawd Cam is horrible and he set Carolina back 3 decade" threads that will follow simply what realistically should occur this Sunday.......it would be worth it.

It isn't so much the "Cam hate" as much as it is being stunned by the blatant hypocrisy in regards to Clausen. Granted Cam has shown much more than Clausen has in his entire time here, but people didn't exactly consider Clausen's situation last season. I fully expect the same treatment for Cam.

I hope he does well. Growing pains sure but if after the season he clausens it up you should requote this thread.

I am purely talkin week 1. His rookie year I actually expect a lot of out Cam. A lot of growth and production increasing consistantly as the season progresses.....

If he Clausen's it up as the season goes along (in his own Cam like way).....then he ain't the future answer here.

No one was ready to bash and give up all hope b/c of 1 game of Jimmy's. Everyone can acknowledge Jimmy was not in an ideal scenario last year.

But Jimmy Clausen just sucked. Clausen didn't fit the offense. Jimmy Clausen in his 13 games and 10 starts....earned some of the crap he now recieves.

Cam hasn't played a NFL snap that counted.

If Cam is as consistantly ineffective as Clausen....he will get much more crap (and wil deserve it).

If I want to find you, I know all I have to do is look in any thread that dares to say anything positive about Cam.

And your response to every post will be "Matt Moore" because you have the originality of a Saltine cracker.

I stay out of plenty of threads but when some donkey says something that equates to "no matter what, Cam's debut is going to be among the best rookie QBs #1 overall ever" I'm going to chime in.

You guys can support him all you want and lower expectations so you won't be disappointed, but no matter how many excuses you guys make for the kid, only his play will matter.

I never said that.....nor anything close to it. I expect Cam to overall suck week 1.

my point was those claiming he would be solid......should name the top 3 performances of #1 overall drafted QB debuts in week 1. Claiming he would be strong and win would mean his debut goes to the top (so that is actually saying a lot.....and I didn't see it as realistic)

so I would say you were eagar to chime in....b/c you thought something positive was being said.

um, this thread isn't that long. Go back and read.

I think Cam will be bad on Sunday.....my point is that is okay and should be expected by people that follow the game.

Said if he does well and aids them in winning as some are claiming (not me) that they are actually saying a LOT (too much for me to buy).....b/c they are actual saying without realizing it is that he will have one of the top debuts in week 1 by a number 1 overall QB given his circumstances.

No backpeddling....just pointing out you can't take part of what I said and spin it into a different reality. (which is 90% of what you to in your Cam baiting)

Now YOU, are claimng CRA said whatever happens Cam is going down as the GOAT in a week 1 debut.......lame dude. Here is an idea, go start the official Cam/TRD thread.....anyone wanting to talk Cam with you go there.
