No way you get rid of Goodson. If the Panthers do, they are dumber than I fear. Mike Goodson is a triple threat, running back, kick returner, and receiver out of the backfield. Panthers are set at RB with Williams, Goodson, and Stewart. Why would they ruin that position by getting rid of the one running back out of all the ones they had in the preseason, who can provide so much?

Signing Pat Williams this week would not have helped the Panthers. Remember that he is serving a 2 game suspension for the Starcaps issue. He would not be available to play until Week 3.

We're going to give it our best this Sunday and bring in a vet next week so we don't have to fully guarantee the contract for the season.

While that may be frustrating to us fans, it's a smart move. My bet is that we bring in Olshansky... not sure about Jamal Williams, you would think Fox would have brought him back to Denver if he thought he had anything left given Denver's transition to a 4-3 defense.
