we will also get to see how good a QB Flynn is. Packers are a big play kind of team.

I was worried Rodgers would lose his job to Flynn after his putrid performance against NO. I figured the coaching staff would give him one more week though.

Anyone wanna trade me Sutton for Rodgers in ff?

I hate to say it, but I do not believe there is much Cameron can do to quite the haters. He has done everything he can to this point, to no avail. Short of a Super Bowl win, or even multilpe wins, he is just never going to stop the haterz. Instead of enjoying the heck out of this, they will continue to lose out because of their hate.

Waste of emotions in my book, but GOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

Just keep doing what he did last week obviously and get wins. As long as he and the team look better each week that is all that matters at this point. Wins would be nice though.

Why do you guys care about what other people say about our QB?

On the flip side, what has he proved? Yes he had a good performance week 1 but like people have said it was against an average at best D. Why don't we wait until he plays a few good games before complaining about haters and doubters? Weinke has had a better game then him, The Golden Calf of Bristol threw for 333 or something like that his first game. Wait till teams have film and he plays some more stiff competition.

With that said, I support Cam 100% and want nothing more than a W in 20 hrs and each and every other week.

Ok. Good. He played a good game. Behind a line that Joe Montana could not have played well behind. They can't block. I would have like to have seen some more of those yards made in the Red Zone. And with all that, taint worth spit without the W.

Wins ARE coming, and I mean this year. Two reasons I can say this. One is Cameron. I am confident he is capable of doing whatever the coaches ask of him. He is only going to improve, so our O should be good to go. Two is the fact that I absolutely refuse to believe Rivera will not get the mistakes taken care of. We have the talent to be competitive. If we can play mistake free, or as close as possible, we can start to win.

My giddy says it is so. So GOOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

??

Cam will shut the haters up when he actually does something in the NFL. Like winning consistently, putting up good numbers consistently and more importantly carry the team through rough times. Everyone gets picked on, Cam just to a slightly higher extent but that was brought on by his actions and the way he played in college, regardless he is just as focused on as any #1 overall QB that comes out of the draft.

Unfortunatley for you it will take winning to earn respect and honestly I am glad it's that way. I am glad Cam has people to prove wrong. Fortunately for Cam I think he can handle it. I just hope he is able to carry the team and win over a long period of time.

If he plays like he did last week for the next couple years and poeple are still hating, I'll dig what you're saying.

There is a difference between doubters and haters. Most doubters are beginning to believe. The haters however, will never believe.

Like the fact that I believe Cameron can play this well every week. I believe he will have bad games, but that I believe they will be few and far between. I believe if we play to our potential, we have a shot at winning some games. I do not believe that anyone who claims to want to wait for Cameron to prove he is capable has any faith that he actually will prove to be great.

Just believe, it will not hurt you. And GOOOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see Cam get another 400 Sunday to quiten down the naysayers. I'd be happy just to get up in the uper 2s. My fear is if the D has not figured out how to prevent the big plays, we will also get to see how good a QB Flynn is. Packers are a big play kind of team.

Are you on Spice or Bath Salts?

    • Now now now, I wouldn't say there is no logic, but there's just not a lot of in-depth thought put into Barnwell's  "analysis." Now to be fair to him (and other national writers), pre-season team rankings are basically clickbait. And...Barnwell, himself, said that "there's a lot of projection here." He basically admits that he doesn't know how the hell things are going to turn out with our receiver group. He also said that "I find myself" more intrigued by Coker than Legette; that does not mean that he said that fans should be, or that Coker will even be better than Legette (regardless of ESPN's per-route-run stat). So, yeah, Barnwell said some things, but even he has to basically admit that he doesn't know how bad or good that our playmakers will be in 2025.  Overall, what Barnwell is basically thinking is that the Panthers have gotten worse at the offensive skill positions, and baked into that is that others have gotten better. That's the argument in July (meaning, please don't give this any more weight than it's due). I would personally be surprised (not shocked) if we end up worse than the Titans, Pats and Giants at least. Once you throw in the Bills, Giants, Jets, Steelers, and even the Chargers, I personally think there are several teams' skill groups that may end up ranked lower than ours by the end of 2025.  @kungfoodudeis one of my dudes, but like others he is over the tipping point. He's had enough. Seeing is believing. I will say this though: Barnwell's piece is less about logic than just good ol' opinion. And to be honest, he might as well be a Huddler throwing out sh¡t in the summer based upon nothing but good feels or bad feels.  Our offense as a whole (just like any other team's) is going to depend upon the play of the O-line and especially the QB. How you can even rank the skill positions without expressly baking those two things in the cake is beyond me. I would dare say that that's not even logical.
    • Football is not the professional sport where timidness and apprehension are justly rewarded.
    • Bryce Young had a super high floor definitely at least won't be a bust safe pick we allegedly had seen in some time.......and went on to have one of the worst rookie seasons of all time.  They are all lotto picks.  And that is especially true for whatever they will be day 1 in the NFL.  I don't think Tmac is a sure thing year 1.  It's not like we watched him do his thing in the SEC.  He was a PAC12 guy.  I'm sure it will take time
