Think about this when looking at Cams Ints....

2 of the 3 were the right reads. 1st one was just a forced throw to Smitty, should have gone to Olsen I think it was on the out. The second Int was the correct read, but he was just sloppy on the throw w/ the pressure coming at him throwing off his back foot. Last one was also the correct throw to Nannae, again he just overthrew it. We know Cam can make the correct reads, making the bad throws is correctable because we know and he has shown his accuracy, just those couple sloppy throws he needs to clean up.

Yeah, he whipped his rookie out & stepped on it. He will again this season. I look at it like this.

1. All of his mistakes are correctable.

2. After every one he was looking at the screen to see where he went wrong.

3. If the D can play at that level from here out, our final record will surprise a lot of people.

4. If we can get the running game going, we'll surprise even more.

5. Yeah we're 0-2. That sucks. We also have shown flashes of greatness.

The future is bright.

3 interceptions are 3 interceptions... It is what it is. The only way I'd see it differently is if they were tipped by receivers or receivers ran the wrong routes. Neither scenario applies to any of Newton's interceptions.

He has to take better care of the ball if we're to be successful this season.

The future is unknown.

They were rookie mistakes. If he eliminates or cuts down on them, he is going to be a very good Qb. And I think he will cut down on them.

I hear ya brother. They were rookie mistakes. The crux of the matter comes down to whether he can fix them or not. I believe in his innate ability. Some hope he improves, others however, have less faith that he ever will.

His ability to SENSE is uncanny. It is like he instictively knows what is going on all over the field. He dives forward, instead of sliding, just before the hit comes. He has a great feel of the passing game, making it look rediculously easy. The reason he has lookied so good so far is the fact that he has outstanding insticts for the game.

A couple of times today if found myself actually holding my breath. How many athletes can you say that about? I am giddy with the prospect of how good this team can be. And a big part of that is Cameron.

The giddy wants what the giddy wants. And GOOOOOO PANTHERS!!!!!!!

PS. My brother-in-law went to Davidson. Do you know him? :smilielol5:

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
