Andy Dalton could end up winning ROY instead of Cam

I actually like Andy Dalton. Drafted in the 3rd round and playing fairly well. Blows the doors off what Jimmy Clausen did last season. Thought he was thrown into a rough situation with Palmer not reporting but the kid has responded. Bright future.

bengals seemed like a worse situation than we were so Im impressed with how he's done. I am also very impressed with Cam though. Hope Cam wins ROY but it isn't all locked up yet.

I think Newton is in the driver's seat for ROY, but it WAY early.

Concering Dalton, I don't think his ceiling is nearly as high as Newton's, but he can be a quality starter. Don't think he has the top-end talent of Carson Palmer, but Palmer hasn't been good in a couple of years.

If I was Cincy, I totally move on with Dalton and say C-ya to Palmer. Dalton may not be franchise guy, but Palmer wasn't going to be that guy anymore either

AJ Green is just as likely as Dalton. Dalton will have his tough games. The cream will rise to the top.

Most keep going back to that one win they have, where he only played the first half, and scored 1 TD.
