Future of the Funchise

made me laugh a little bit but only after staring at it with my head cocked sideways like a confused puppy for a few seconds. the comments on youtube are horrible tho. some of them made my stomach turn, some of them made me said to be a part of the human race.

then i remembered that most people are fuging idiots who are afraid to speak their minds in the real world, where there may be consequences, but go bat poo crazy with the ignorance they spew on the internet where they can hide behind their monitor.

anyway just watch the damn video

This is actually quite funny for a few reasons...

First, this isn't intended to be taken seriously. It's supposed to be funny. This is satire, as evidenced by the title card at the end that denotes that it's made as part of SVT Humor (Swedish National Broadcasting Humor). Think of it as a Saturday Night Live kind of thing.

Second, it's satirizing the political debate between the rising tide of extreme, right-wing anti-immigration movements and the center-left (by American standards) establishment in Northern Europe that tend to take an integration-first method towards dealing with immigrant populations.

Presently, the anti-immigration parties in Scandinavia, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands (where I live) are focused against (mostly) legal immigration from Northern Africa and Turkey. These movements are defined by the vast majority of the National populations as either xenophobic at best or flat-out racist at worst. These parties generally have very weak platforms outside of their immigration stances. That is to say they are are pretty hollow parties that focus only on one issue. This is why they are viewed as "extreme" by most regular people.

Third, it's hilarious that the poster and the racists making comments on this vid are trying to turn it into some kind of state sponsored propaganda and don't understand that it's supposed to be a joke. Just goes to show that bigots aren't interested in things like facts or context.

This proves rap music sucks no matter what language its in.

There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation..

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
