Getting a dog from a breeder vs shelter

Get a rescue. Heard on the news at most humane shelters they give dogs 3 days before they put them down. If you want to save a life and want a dog with less problems get a puppy. People are real assholes if they left a 3 month old pup in the street to die.

mine was found in a shopping mall at about 6 weeks old.. words cannot describe..

I have 3 rescues and one pure bred..So I go both ways :)

If stupid flippin' pet owners would learn to spay and neuter their pets..we wouldn't have such a problem

I got my kitteh over off West Blvd at the Animal Control place....they don't let you walk outta there without them being fixed....its included in the price you pay

definitely rescue

our last guy was a rescue, and he's the poo. our beagle was from a breeder, but we've decided he'll be the last pup we get that's not a rescue

plus, most shelters spay/neuter as soon as the dogs are admitted, so that whole headache is out of the way and you won't have nightmares of bob barker

    • That does sound familiar. Those fans are deep. In snow lol. you don’t want to be up there in January.   I would think they have probably seen it all. Except what…  the championship? Gotta feel for them.
    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired (or out) after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
