For The Jeremy Shockey call. That was an atrocious call, and it's starting to gain steam in the public eye. They were bashing it on NFLN earlier, Peter King was just discussing it on Twitter, local media has obviously called it out. I imagine it, along with Meriweather's helmet to helmet tackle, and a few other things, will be reported to The League.

So my questions to you are this..

1) Should the NFL issue a public apology to the Panthers for taking away a TD that ended up costing them the game?

2) Should controversial penalties be reviewed on the field, or at least challengeable?

Don't know if there is a worse feeling than having the officials sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and stealing a W away from you.

NO... Actually there are rules against leafing with your helmet, which is exactly what happened.

He lead with his head. If Meriweather had done that to Brady or some other "sexy" superstar while they were scrambling, if would have been a fine and a flag.

It shows the NFL has the balls to admit when it was wrong, AND, more importantly, it should garner us some more favorable calls in the coming weeks.

I am still convinced the refs looked at it and deemed it was too incredible to have happened, so they just overturned it. Amazing that we keep ending up on the back end of these highly detrimental calls week after week.

I believe they should be reviewable and challenged. The Cardinals had the same thing happened to them this evening against the Giants.

Don't know why it took the Shockley's icident to raised an eye-brow since it seem to have been going on since the first game. I say it's because it's the Panthers.
