This won't be as clear cut as you think. They are feeding on viewers to completely believe he's a terrorist just cause he's practicing Muslim. I did some reading/research on other sites and he really isn't doing the prayer correctly according to them. They also have pointed out that his "finger movements" are not really a code but actually, a prayer or something I think.

Damien Lewis is a awesome actor, he's underrated, so I'm liking this show a lot. I don't think it's going to be anything like what we think. Remember, I think this is from the creator of 24 or something.

In my opinion, it could be Claire Danes that is the terrorist as much as Lewis is. She's obviously a bit nutty, from her medicine, she has spent time over there (and they made a point to let us know she's one of the only people in her position that was actually overseas or in the heat of things), she's a loner, etc. She's as much as a candidate. Considering her access to everything in our Gov., she could reap way more damage. Really, I think they are both involved, but they don't know this. He's a switch to switch her on to get it rolling.

But we won't know just yet. Just don't fall in with the "oh god he's praying on a mat so he's obviously a terrorist" thing yet.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
