Yep, when starters get injured it means players who would be on special teams get moved to starting roles, and backups who aren't quite as good get moved to special teams.

I've watched the NFL replay of the game twice tonight, and I really see what you're saying. On most of their rushes, literally every single defender has a blocker on him. It's nuts. We've got to get some guys who can eat up multiple blockers.

Its could also be caused by LBs not being in the right spot when needed. TBH though I think its a little of both.

The talent gap between a first and 7th round pick is much less than you are suggesting. These are all elite players and often a players position in the draft is blurred by particular team need and scouting (sometimes good sometimes bad)

Having lower round picks is no excuse for losing.
