Marty Hurney NOT intersted in Lloyd

Why do people want to trade away another draft pick when we will have Gettis back next year anyway?

The best teams build through the draft instead of trading away draft picks and spending big money on FA's. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that philosophy.

Hell, the Eagles were the big off season free agency winner and they have the same record as the Panthers.

Well, I'm not completely sad. BUT, about Gettis, you do not know what condition he'll be when he returns. His game is speed and his injury was a bad one. He could never be like he was, we just don't know. He's also not that proven. What if Smith goes down right now? We would be terrible. With a guy like Lloyd, it wouldn't be as bad. Could you imagine going week in and out with Legadu as our #1 WR????

I still wouldn't give up more than a 4th anyway for him. True we need defensive help, but grabbing someone like Lloyd would allow us to focus 100% on defensive picks for a year or two instead of looking at WR.

Wes Welker had the same injury. Gettis will be good next season. We do not need to trade away any more draft picks, period. We just need to use them wisely when the time comes.

The chance is always out there, that is the thing. And yes, obviously against the trade if he wasn't going to sign a extension.
