Post game interview Rivera and Cam

I know exactly what is going through Cam's head. "Can we get a stop on defense after we score, please?" Then, after the pick "well aint that a bitch? Hold here D." Then, after they scored it became "we can still execute a drive here." After being sacked, it was "god fuging dammit!"

The 4th quarter was just pure ugly. OL started to come apart. Defense couldn't get off the field because they REFUSED to wrap up on Turner and keep their legs moving through contact. That is pop warner poo. Cam's last pick was a "fug it" jump ball that wouldn't have mattered regardless. It was almost like he wanted it to be picked, because he waited back on the return of that INT to try and clock the DB (I mean, he lunged pretty hard and tried to cold shoulder the guy). Guess he just wanted to vent that anger physically.

Cam is pissed because he is doing it all (well, besides Stew) by himself. The defense can't do poo right. Sure, we have a ton of injuries on the defensive side of the football, but they're STILL professionals and so they are to be held accountable for their successes as well as their short-comings. It's gotta be wearing on him mentally by now.

I would love to be Rivera's friend or employee. Love the guy's personality. Which is what worries me even more, especially when considering this team's obsession with loyalty. You hate to ever have to part ways with guys like this.

As a coach, he's not showing me what I need to see. I can see why he was an assistant coordinator for so long. He's clearly a great guy, good mentor, and a people person and likes to learn. I also think Fox is a great man with great character though more stubborn.

Unfortunately in the NFL, and when it comes to my football team that's not something I look for. It's the assholes and the "win at all costs or else I'm going to lose it" guys that make the best coaches. The ones that have to win or else they are nothing. The Belichicks, the Ryans, the Harbaughs, Parcels...etc....those are the type of leaders that can get players to do what they want. The dictators. If you're not a borderline tyrant who can rule with a bit of fear you're not going to get dudes that make millions of dollars a year to work hard for you. So far he looks like another push over and too complacent.

He should be PISSED. I wanna see some fire. I wanna see screaming on the sidelines. Even Fox looked more passionate than Rivera.

I don't care what anyone says, when your defense sucks that bad it gets to you mentally. That's a lot of burden to carry knowing in order for you to win you have to score on virtually every f*cking drive.

It's starting to get to him and I don't blame him... Maybe Hurney will get it through his f*cking head that we need help defensively and he'll make a move before the trade deadline. It is so demoralizing to be the the only reason your team is in games and have your effort wasted each week.

If the coaches and front office care about the team, they'd also stop putting Cam in positions to fail and give him help on the otherside of the ball.
