This is what I'm afraid of, Kid looked pretty good and he seems to have a good rapport with Shiancoe...not to mention, every team has put 8 or 9 in the box every week against Min and he still gets over 100 sometimes close to 200...I dare say that our run D has looked just as bad, if not worse, than any other team I've watched all year.

eh....he was 13 for 32 passing. That's not very good.

I'd rather give up 300 rushing yards to a stud like Adrian Peterson than 300 passing yards to rookie Christian Ponder. At least we could say we got beat by the best RB in football and chalk it up to that than the much larger "we got torn up by a rookie" discussion.

      This is what scares me most this year IMO. I think the defense can be Top 10. But unless Brooks breaks out AND we get some OL health luck, I don't know if we're anything other than a meh rushing team at best.  Chuba ain't scaring anybody. Take away Rico's few weeks of monster games and make them average, and our rushing stats last year are bottom third of the league.  Hell, we already are in the bottom half even with Rico's crazy stretch.  Idzik calling plays being a difference and/or Bryce magically becoming a different QB are the only hopes we have I think. I think this offense could be downright bad, despite a defense giving them 2nd chances or short fields.

      The Bengals approach OL like we did during Cam's career. Ah, we don't need that poo! Spend it all on D (our case with Cam)! At least they give Burrow crazy elite receivers but it's hard to throw when you're flat on your back.
