Fantastic game Cam

What's the rest of ur team's playing record because at last check, a QB alone doesn't win games.

Well if Cam would have completed 72.3% of his 4th quarter instead of a pathetic 70%, the D would've stopped the Vikes for at least one of their one of their scores & we would have won in this loss... Bourbon?

Because I'm not going off of 1 game. I'm going off of 6. And it's been the same issue: choking in the 4th.

Unable to march down and get the winning points. End of argument.

He's a rookie in his sixth game. He should be doing better in the fourth, but these are mistakes that come with the inexperience. It's not as simple as Newton cant handle the pressure.

I am totally happy with Cam's performance.

I am pretty happy with our TE play

I am very happy with #89's play

I am not at all happy with the "D" pass or run.

I cannot understand how Naane is ahead of Lafell on the roster?

I am fed up with the ST

I am tired of moral victories - game 8, we should have some of the problems fixed by now!

I swear some people here who would be negative if the team was 8-0.

By all accounts Cam Newton has exceeded everyone's expectations. Without him the Panthers would not have sniffed a win this year. No one would be talking about game winning comebacks that didnt happen because the games would be over by halftime.

Last time I checked Cam is not alone on the field, but our rookie QB is somehow responsible for not overcoming a scrub defense that is terrible, horrible special teams play and playing with most of a team that returned from last year that won 1 game.

There is no way that anything negative that has happened this season should be laid at Cam Newtons feet. He is the most positive force on this team.

Were you expecting this team to go to the super bowl? Were you expecting perfection from Cam?

Damn some of you people need to come to grips with reality.

all Cam needs to do is correct the things he talks about at the podium. PROTECT the football.

he is like a bad point guard sometimes, he keeps BOTH teams in the game.

im not worried about his progress. he will get better and smarter and even more dynamic. its all good.

this is like the only game Cam has lost a fumble, and both of them came on blind side sacks. he's so strong it's hard to knock the ball out from him like that, Jared Allen did his homework

    • I personally think Bryce is going to be an extremely good Quarterback for a long time. If you look at modern QB development, it just takes a while. The extreme athletes can get by early, but if you look at the trajectories of guys the last 10 years, were seeing a lot of slow-cooking. Jared Goff, Geno Smith, Baker, Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence. The list is long.  The guys that were truly special from Day 1 is an extremely short list. The list of things that college quarterbacks are responsible for gets shorter by the day with the transfer portal, and the college offenses. The list of things that NFL Quarterbacks are responsible for seems to get longer and longer each season.  I saw an interview the other day in which a rookie quarterback and center were calling plays for the offense.  I can't remember the team or the Quarterback, but I definitely remember the clip. It takes time, even for the smartest and most gifted, and the reality is, we have no idea how good or bad the coaching may be until we hear things we aren't supposed to hear anyway.  Bryce isn't perfect, but I saw in another thread, his biggest struggle is risk/reward. That is something I only expect him to improve upon. His adjustments, ability to read a defense, and execution have been extremely good considering our rosters in his tenure here. Our offensive personnel and coaching were both so poor his rookie year that I'm not sure it's fair to properly evaluate that at all. Since that time, all we've seen from him is growth and progress.
    • Not really.  The run defense has been solid except for the opening game and New England.  We shut Arizona's run game down, but early turnovers hurt.  And of course, we shut out Atlanta.
    • True, Bryce having a weaker arm wouldn’t be a big deal if it was paired with… Great accuracy, ball placement, etc. But it’s not.  Bryce has consistently done 2 things all 3 seasons.  One of the lowest completion % in the NFL each year,  one of the highest bad throws % in the NFL.    Then you can get into his unwillingness to stress a D and how that has allowed safeties and DBs  cheat coverage making the small ball so many QBs enjoy a tougher task.
