It's just a different game now. Marino threw for 1400 yards more than #2 that year. He also finished 3rd in completion %, 1st in y/a and 1st by a mile in TD throws. I'd rather Cam finish the deal more often rather than racking up yards in between the 20s.

didn't do bad in the red zone today just had too many 3 and outs during the game and the two turnovers.

Your're right he was good today but so far being efficient in the red zone has been the exception rather than the rule. Hopefully it changes. 6th in yards per game but only 15th in point per game.

Wow...Andy Dalton had two turn-over and and two TDs that came in the first half and his team still manage to pull out a 34-12 win over the Sea Hawks. ...Wow..Amazing what happens when all isn't on the shoulders of a young rookie QB and the rest of the team, especially the defense help him out. Wins do manage to come...SHOCKING..Four in a row as a matter of fact.

The Bengals isn't 5-2 because of a rookie QB who doesn't make mistakes. They are 5-2 despite their rookie QB's mistakes. It's called TEAM effort.

All u keep reading on this site is thread after thread of...If Cam would hold the ball tighter...Make better decisions...Throw a little straighter...not fumble the ball at all...not get any interceptions at all....not cause the defense to have to work so hard....nor the secondary teams to have to make any game changing decisions...The team would do better. FYI..Defense wins games guys and they unlike the offense, can do it on both sides of the ball. Just ask the 5-2 Bengals with their rookie QB, who isn't perfect by no means, sitting at the helm.

Continue to believe the Panthers can win IF Cam would just be PERFECT in every game, while the rest of the team continues to depend on him carrying them.

we all want wins, and most of us realize Cam HAS to play perfect for the team to win. Is it how it's suppose to be? NO. But that's just the way it is for this season. I think most of us are amazed at how incredible he is and wish the other parts of the team could be like that. The Special Teams and Defense just look like they are trying to hold on out there..they aren't helping us at all. Like our offense last year, when you are nervous when they are on the field you know things need to be changed.

Lets keep in mind Cam has only played 8 career games in the NFL. Lets take it easy on the comparisons here. This thread is dildos

Don't think anyone is comparing Cam overall to Marino. This is just merely a look at how Cam is on pace to Marino's record. Nothing more.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
