Game 1: Don't compare Cam to to other NFL QB's because he's a rookie.

Game 8: Don't compare Cam to a rookie because that rookie's a winner.

Is it still allowed to compare him to Gabbert? He's still sucking, I think.

If you don't like cam, do you think we should put in clausen?

Out of curiosity, would you rather have Alex Smith since he's a "winner"?

Dude you almost hit the nail on the head so freaking bad it's not even funny. No not Alex Smith. But you are "this" close.

I'd give my right nut for Harbaugh as I would have prior to finding out we're getting Rivera.

I'd give my left nut to get back our draft pick, not because of Cam, but because I believed yet ANOTHER rookie QB wasn't going to fix this team and I was tired of losing last year and get my number 1 pick AJ or take AJ and even trade the pick to someone.

Because this is exactly what I thought would happen. I was against drafting Luck for crying out lout let alone Cam....or please don't get me going....Clausen the year before.

I always believed if we take AJ, we could have kept Matt, or get us a vet with some experience and let Clausen or whatever other rookie we can get to sit on a bench for a year or two.

Do you know how bad I'm fuming that the Bengals did JUST that, got themselves a second round QB and are winning and they didn't even have a first round pick? OMFG!

Instead of doing the sensible thing we're going to be losing for a year or two and possibly destroy yet another rookie QB under another lame coach.

you do realize that having both dalton and AJ wouldn't change the defense or our special teams on our team in the slightest, meaning that we would still be losing these games, and we would be losing them by A LOT more because dalton can't do half the crap cam does.

you realize this right? with your plan we have another craptastic offense with a game manager for a QB instead of a playmaker...

    • He's handing off play calling duties to fuging Brad Idzik as well so, either that mouth breather can run the playbook and Canales can grow as an all around head coach or it will be a horrible decision and both of them and BY can screw off. I'm fine with that as long as it isn't just another excuse for BY to get another year with another coach worthy of working around his limitations as a qb.
    • Not only for Andersen but the whole team, having not beat the Habs this season before tonite.  Shows them that they aren't jinxed.
    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
