Yeah, that dude on the 90' wave... he's about half way up, so he's 45' off the surface, probably got forward motion at what, 25-30 MPH? Pretty much death or disfigurement if you fall there... CRAZY. :crazy:

There was a surfing video a few years back where dude went on a rant about golfers. Basically about the amount of money a pro golfer makes for his risk, next to nothing, but the pro surfers risk their necks every time they got out for what? Sponsorships...

Kelly Slater is the extreme case, but I think he is doing very well. He has 4 or 5 houses I think, and each on a different continent. He did just win his 11th world title though at the age of 39.

Yeah, I would suspect that if you asked, most surfers don't surf for the money. Hell for that matter, most golfers don't golf for the money...
