Trading down is easier said than done... much, much easier. It really depends where we fall - I think at #2 we would get some trading partners, but even #3 may not get bites on a trade, especially if Kalil doesn't come out or something.

Nobody is going to be pining to trade up and draft Kalil. Not with Jonathan Martin and Riley Reiff being right behind him in terms of OT prospects. Trading down this year should be rather easy within the top 5-if we even finish there and I'm not so sure we will.

It will be easier to trade down in this draft than in the past IMO. Lots of top QBs and a rookie wage scale. Still depends on our spot though and the type of ammunition someone has to trade with.

I know that, but if Kalil stays in, #2 may draft him, whereas if Kalil isn't there, a QB will go at #2, so if Kalil isn't there and we're #3, the best 2 QBs will be off the draft board and I have a hard time buying that a team will want to trade up... (of course if Kalil stays so does Barkley, lowering the QB pool by 1)

Honestly, depending on the Combine, RG3 could fly up Draft boards, near where Matt Barkley is. So, even if the Colts and Miami take Luck and Barkley, and we're drafting third, the Skins or Seahawks may want RG3.

yes his story is touching, I'm really glad he's found a roster spot in the NFL but the guy is just depth and unless he takes a massive leap from now to the end of the season, OT is a HUGE need.

did you guys forget that Gross is like 31? some of you are already talking about drafting Smith's replacement when OL is much more important than WR.
