The Panthers boast the NFL's fourth-ranked rushing attack, chewing up 146 yards per game. But it was Carolina's carve-job of the Tampa Bay defense on Monday night that caught Shanahan's eye. The tandem of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart combined for 301 yards and four touchdowns in the Panthers' 38-23 win.

Asked if the duo is one of the NFL's best tandems, Shanahan gushed.

"They're right up there, that's for sure," he said. "They are working very well together. I don't think I've seen any team run like that against Tampa Bay. They obviously dominated the game with 300 yards between two backs."

Shanahan said defensive end Julius Peppers, who has 12.5 sacks, is one of the NFL's best and the Broncos will have their hands full, but warned his team is accustomed to seeing talent on the defensive line.....

I think they are still a little too confident about Ryan Clady handling Julius Peppers. A little too "we've seen his type before" attitude.

I too am looking forward to the Peppers vs Clady match up. I'm sure Clady has faced some good, fast, DE's, but I don't think he's seen the power that Peppers brings to the table. Cutler knows how to get rid of the ball quickly though, so it will still be tough for Pep to get there in time.

Don't forget that Pep lined up on the left side for that one sack against Garcia. Watch out for Pep to line up on both sides or drop back into pass coverage.

Pay the man!!

Well Clady is one of 3 tackles in the league who has yet to give up a sack, Ryan Harris (our right-tackle) is number 2. So it's going to be a great matchup for whatever side Peppers lines up against.
