The 2012 Carolina Panthers

I agree with the let's not end this season just yet crowd. For crying loud out. 240 more minutes of Panther football, I ain't giving them up without a fight.

Four more games of electrifying action left. Four more games of evaluating talent. Yahooo. When they are in the books, then we can start whining about what we need to do to improve for next year. Who needs to be cut, who needs to be signed, and who needs to be drafted. Those are questions that can wait, or maybe not for this crowd, until the season is officially over.

Long story short, pooty thread. And GOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!1

Not ready for the off-season yet, I feel like this season just started.
That's how I feel...suddenly the regular season is 75% over...it's like a time warp.

I know I'll enjoy the off season a lot more than last year now that the labor deal is done; we have the QB position resolved; the coaches have settled in; and they will have a real off-season schedule to prepare everyone. I think draft day is going to be crazy.

I don't make pooty threads, I make calm down threads.

and btw the quote is a long story short.

Sorry, I do not believe I have ever used the word Pooty before. Not sure why I had to use it on one of your threads? Was only having fun. Deal wit it. HA

I am just not ready to leave this season in the dust quite yet. Been forever since there has been this much excitement around here. Four more games, three more games, two more games, one more game, then we can start with the what ifs. mkay?

GOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I am still very excited about the 4 games. It's not like I am looking over the players in the draft or who will be a FA. I just can't get down about this team or the ending of the season cuz it's just now really starting for the New Carolina Panthers, just have to wait 9 months....:sigh:

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
