I'd be fine with the second. Not the first. But I think those are hopeful wishes. No one can really say how he's going to pan out. It's up to the individual. His ambition, attitude, dedication and ability to overcome his own psyche. Last one is his biggest enemy right now, and it's usually most QBs' biggest enemy.

Farve had this issue too. He didn't get scared or frustrated as much as sloppy and started forcing the ball late in the game. He started slinging it without the mechanics and properfoot work. Especially towards the end of his career. Never seen a QB with as many years of solid play, turn into such a horrible passer like Bret Farve and throw so many passes off his back foot in those situations. He would give up the basics in a heartbeat and it would cost his team the game.

* we do well when creative plays are called......poorly if we go to "safe" mode.

* the first INT was a mental mistake, trying to force a pass that, even if completed, would not in all likelihood would not have led to significant gain (i.e. not worth the risk)

* I don't blame Mare.... but it seems obvious to me that he does have issues with high pressure situations. It will not be easy to fix

Both of them do. The only one that doesn't seem to be bothered and is calm as a monk is Rivera. Which is kind of weird. Never seen a coach so calm in the face of so many mistakes. And personally I maintain that the last turnover is what matters. Not the first pick or the second, or third. The last. Whether by fumble, pick, or turnover on downs and getting stopped. That's what matters most in every game. Finishing.

So no "Rookie Wall" the first half but it hit him the second half.

Got it.

imo, what you're seeing is a kid who has been working basically non stop since February getting tired as games wear on. He's pumped for the start of a game, but he has trouble coming out after the half because there's a break in the action. it takes him time to get back into it and get pumped up, which is why he usually does have a couple decent drives later on in the game, but struggles early in the 2nd half.

Mr Scott your right on the money as usual.... I just hate when he just doesnt throw it away... His is our future unlike another panthers QB he wants to win it all... I can't blamed him so do I , am sure all the panther nation would love repeat 12-4 run our chances at redemption with another SB appearance this time we have Cam...Lol

I see a change in play calling ie a loss of aggression and a defense that gave up 24 points in the second half.

If you want to say this thin defensive unit gets tired in the second half that makes sense to me. Blaming this loss on Cam and a "rookie wall" is...........

better just to hold my tongue.

Loss was due to many things but Cam looks off in the 2nd half and there are times where he does look tired. I don't think this loss was due to "the rookie wall" though, but it may have played some part. More that he gets a bit tired, Chud sees that, adjusts play calling to lean on others. Sometimes it's fine and effective, but when the run game isn't breaking off huge chunks, it's a problem. Combine that with a missed FG and a defense that got exhausted and beaten bad late in the game and you have a recipe for disaster.

Defense is very thin. Depth is a huge problem. We have virtually none of it.
