Admit it, as soon as Rivera shut it down with 1 min left in 1st half...

he certainly wasn't for what we were offering, but he might have if we'd been willing to break the bank on it, never know.

Stephen Ross heavily pursued Harbaugh while trying to keep it a secret and was willing to pay Harbaugh the highest coaching contract in NFL history (something Hurney would never do with a prospective HC from college football), which was a lot more than SF offered and he wouldn't go there

There was more to than than what we know I think, but I may be wrong. I was under the impression that Harbaugh did want the money but there were some disagreements on the particulars.

how does it work when fans think we turned off in the 2nd half, Rivera went conservative, when we passed a lot more than we ran, and people are bitching because we didn't run more.. and then bitch because our team took their foot off the pedal?

not one part of that makes sense...

Why are people making such a big deal about the ending to the first half. I don't disagree with the way we handled the situation.

It was the 3rd quarter that did it for me. The end of the first half had nothing to do with the way we played in the 3rd.

you do realize all these posters have huge sandy vaginas right? they must find something irrelevant to complain about...

    • He was a raw receiver.  NFL average for receivers to come into their own is 3 years.  There is no doubt he has been a disappointment.  No reason to ship him off on his rookie contract.  He has the ability- and he has made some fantastic catches.    Color me 1 that is more than willing to see what he does next season.  Isn't going to cost the team anything to do so.
    • PRO: Bad Bunny will have some fuego latinas dancing for him for entertainment    If not I riot
    • Is Ocho going to run routes for him and catch the ball too? Because that is the only way I can see this helping, but hey at least the dude is trying something because he just saw his stock drop heavily in yr2, from COKER balling in big spots and TMAC winning OROY hitting 1K in his 1st year in the NFL! (Oooooh that felt good typing!) I still think he may be a serviceable WR but honestly DM still needs to keep flooding the WR room with talent imo, so XL better try something and quick. Otherwise he will be another bust and washed out of league in 2-3 years.
