The Golden Calf of Bristol has strong intagibles and he can be coached up, but his ceiling is quite low.

that's why i am not like so many and quitting on him, i NEVER see him being Cam, TRUST me, that's why i told all those people who thought (for some stupid reason) that The Golden Calf of Bristol was better than Cam that they need to wake up. i think that his intangibles and the fact that he can be coached will be why i think he could be at least an average passer when his career ends.

Campbell is NOT a good passer, he's average and The Golden Calf of Bristol isnt that far from average

Campbell is a good passer.

He's not a GREAT passer and he's definitely not elite, but he's a GOOD passer. Career 60% completion rate (on some horrible teams and behind some horrible offensive lines), 200 yds per game career average, 74 career TD passes vs. 50 career ints, over 1000 yds career rushing, career 82.8 QB rating.

Good.

Definitely not great.

But good.

Campbell is a good passer.

i dont think he's good because he's not one that throws a ton of TDs and isnt trusted with the offense like other first round picks were, he's not bad, he's more average, something that if The Golden Calf of Bristol becomes will be a success in my book, my knock on Campbell isnt on his passing as it is on that i thought he would be better as both a passer and a runner, but he left alot to be desired for as a runner and his passing as a Redskin wasnt something i loved. he improved as a Raider and likely due to the fact he had a much better run game and defense to also help him.

Panthers/Broncos next year will be hyped for weeks

what's one reason why i hope The Golden Calf of Bristol is good for???? if The Golden Calf of Bristol makes the playoffs, wins a playoff game and is at least an average passer then this game could be a monday night football game and would be huge, i would (of course) root for us and predict us to win, but still, the bigger and better the team the bigger market and stage.

I wonder if the Devil would give Kyle Orton a discount for this game.

Devil: hey kyle

Orton: sup

Devil: Usually I ask for your soul for a game of this magnitude but I got a little side wager going with Jesus on this one.

Orton: So whats it gonna cost me?

Devil: Shave your beard and some KC BBQ?

Orton: Deal!!!!

I hope Orton shows up The Golden Calf of Bristol in every phase of the game Sunday.

i hope he doesnt. like i said, i WANT The Golden Calf of Bristol in the playoffs, just because The Golden Calf of Bristol goes to the playoffs does NOT mean anything to us or Carolina, people can say it till they are blue in the face, but there's NO way that The Golden Calf of Bristol is a better passer than Newton, Newton is a much better passer than The Golden Calf of Bristol is, BUT i want him in the playoffs, he's a good kid and i want him to be successful.

Probably the best part of this week is reading the Denver forums.

I looked at a few realistic criticisms but looks like the great majority are still Delusional with a capital "D". I saw comments that compared him with Cam and Brady. All he needs is time they say.

I also discovered the The Golden Calf of Bristol Army.

    • Good game so far.  Solid trench battles, two young well built defenses, and my 2 fave coaches.  Stafford is really damn good.  SEA OL is overperforming.
    • Okay then. To me that means Russell Wilson was Coryell. Because I see the proposition completely in the Russell Wilson punt/pass put it up for grabs mold. Count on the receiver to catch it or knock it down.    And the reason I thought that was the intent with Legette is the abysmal downfield game from 2023. As in, there was barely any.   I look at it as if… the result of a deep attempt isn’t as important as the opponent understanding they have to defend it. So I was all for some 50/50s. Coryell, Walsh whoever.  I do favor the Coryell approach personally but also very much value versatility, it doesn’t have to be strict. Just make the defense defend the whole field, however you do it. It has to include downfield throws.
    • Sold, or in the process of being sold. Could be either way. Consider this for a second... Last season, our defensive coordinator steered what many have called the worst defense in NFL history.  Canales would absolutely have been justified in firing him, and no one would have blamed him if he had.  But what did he do? He gave Evero another chance to come back and prove he could be better. Does that tell us something about Canales? I think it does. Now apply that to Bryce 😕
