Discussing a very serious issue-A Very Serious Thread, detailing very serious things

And that's me.

I had a bad thought run through my mind today. I couldn't believe I thought it. That thought was this:

"Man I hope they die in a car wreck on the way to the airport"

No, no, contain yourself. I am not talking about our team. I am talking about the broadcasters. Amidst their rambling about who knows what, that thought ran across my mind. This is a very serious issue. I'm usually the first person to lash out at someone for wishing injury on any player, whether it's our team or the enemy's. I pray for the safety of every player prior to every game. What happened to me?

Which brings us to something serious we need to discuss.

Is winning worth it? If these are the broadcasters we are rewarded with for being a good team, should we even bother? I don't know that I can bare to stomach it. We may need to consider the very real possibility of starting TeH Jimmy, and stashing Cam on IR to avoid the temptation to use him. Afterall, I can't blame myself and my own mental health. It's not my fault that Buck and Aikman are the two biggest imbeciles to hit the broadcast booth since Kornheiser (So, you're saying he went to Jarrett tee-hee-tee) was calling games.

Can you really bare to suffer those doofuses for three hours every week? I don't know that I'm ready.

This is just a thought. A very serious thought. That is serious. For serious people.

lol they said we needed to bring in weapons to surround around Cam most importantly Tight Ends.

Idiots.

Well, Troy, Carolina has the 5th ranked offense in the league, and their defense just allowed New Orleans to have the greatest yardage day in their history as a nice little icing to top of the cake of what is their worst defense in their franchise history. What do you think they should do this offseason?

Tight-Ends, bro. Definitely.

    • I suppose it depends on what you mean as 'elite'. I typically mean someone that can play with lower level pieces around them and still win. There are very few of those.
    • It would obviously be incredible if Brooks came back and just ran away with the job on his opportunities like Rico Dowdle did last year. But any Panthers fan that has been around the block knows better than to go ahead and make plans for that. Brooks has missed a ton of not just playing time but meaningful early career growth in a league that has increasingly devalued the position from an investment standpoint beyond one or two superstars. There's really not any comparison to look back on that lines up with the current iteration of the league at least not favorably. The key thing that this RB room has going for them is our investment in the OL. The highest paid OL in the league two years in a row paired with our staff should make it easier for just about any RB to get into open running lanes. But that is also anything but a given considering our OL was largely middle of the pack last year. In the end it might all be a moot point anyways if we again struggle to establish a viable passing attack.
    • I don't have him making the team and I think same goes for the staff, but they are hopeful for a PS spot.    I mean of course I'd like 3 all-world at RB and every spot, just doesn't work that why. Panthers normally carry 3. dan always talk up Etienne, even called him a future star.....I think Brooks will be fine as a 2 with health pls.....  Chubba can carry a seasons load as lead dawg.    Its fine, I mean backup OGs or CB is much higher on my worry scale(Id even put QB room as worse than RB room too...)
