Jake Delhomme would be hung from his achilles tendons shortly after the Playoff lose, he then would be packaged with another player and sent a another team for a top teir player. Because even tho he is the worst QB ever to play in the NFL he has good/decent trade value.

Our D-line would now consist of the following new players Albert Haynesworth, Rocky Benard, Dewayne Robertson, and Chris Canty. We would also be 50 million over the cap because of this, but thats ok, our madden D-line rating would be AT LEAST 98.

Peppers would be traded to the (insert team) for 3 firsts, 5 seconds, a seventh (gotta get that back from the McNown trade!!!) a All-pro (player name here) and free puppies/kittens for every fan. This would be awesome because Peppers is/has (Aids/Clap/Homosexual/Emo/etc) and has vitrually no trade value what so ever, thus we have ripped someone off, which in itself is amazing because Marty Hurny is the worst GM ever.

Chad Johnson, Aquan Boldin, Brylon Edwards would be traded for, and this would be no problem what-so-ever.

We would have an open QB competition between Jay Cutler, Mike Vick, Brady Quinn, and Brett Farve.

John Fox would be stoned publicly after every lose, because he never changes his game plan: John Fox would be sent our virgin daughters and fed grapes by our Wives after ever win because he sticks to what works.

Mike Turgovac would be gone, his familily forced to change their names, his very existance stricken from this realm of existance..

Feel free to add your own...:nopity:

If...

Peppers would be traded to the Eagles for our old 1st round pick and a 3rd.

Jason Kyle would be resigned, Ken Lucas' deal redone at a better cap figure.

Ziggy Hood would be our first pick, we'd trade up in the second to secure Jarron Gilbert.

With an extra $10 million still available in cap space the Panthers would be ready to pounce on talent when teams start making painful cap cuts. These mid level free agents would be plugged in at spots where depth is thin.

Hurney would be a genius for getting what we needed for the malingerer Peppers and assuring a healthy future for the Panther franchise.

And the Big Cat would be full strength by June.

You forgot to add that we cut Ken Lucas so we could sign Nnamdi Asomghua for 100 million over the next five years.

And that Matt Cassel would be competing with the above mentioned quarterbacks for the starting job. Who cares if he makes 11.5 million this year? He put up insane numbers yo!!!

-Press releases galore from one half of the team officials constantly reminding the other half of the past as the only indicator to move forward and rapidly writing off all legitimate doubts about several players with broad generalizations and/or petty excuse making including but not limited to:

"he's taken us to a superbowl berth before"

"he was sick in 2007, i know, i wrote his prescription"

"he's a rookie, he's not blowing coverage because he's playing the wrong position"

...and many, many more.

-The uniforms will change every 6 weeks

-Darin Gantt will be hired as the webmaster for Panthers.com

-Mike Minter's no.30 will be retired, Mike Rucker's 93 will be retired, Kevin Greene's 91 will be retired, ...pretty much anyone who's ever amounted to anything on this team will have their jersey retired.

    • What you are saying isn't always true and I'll give you several examples to demonstrate this. 1) The best player on the board at the end of in round 1 by all consensus is RB (top 15 player in draft who slips b/c of the devaluation of the RB position). Your team is in desperate need of a LT because the current one is getting your QB killed. You already have a serviceable RB in place. The LT has a 2nd round grade and you have the first pick on day 2 of the draft Who do you choose? 2) Your run defense was abysmal the previous season. A DT in round 2 does not provide much in terms of pass rush, but most reports have him rated as the best pure run stuffing DT in the draft. The two highest rated players on your board at the time are a TE and tweener at OLB/DE who slipped into round 2 after a run on WR's. Who do you choose? 3) Your pass rush rush is solid across the board. You even have guy coming off of the bench to provide production. Your secondary in below average. No Safety on the roster is a difference maker and as a unit the squad doesn't have an INT. The highest rated player on the board is a DE. The 5th highest rated player on the board is a an intelligent ball hawking Safety. Which player would make the team immediately better?  1) I think the BPA logic applies when your team is solid across the board and you can afford to draft for depth 2) I think it also applies when your team stinks and any solid player will be an immediate upgrade over what you already have. I agree that you should NEVER reach for a player when you are need at a position like we did for Bryce Young. But I also think if there's is a player on the board that will fill a glaring weakness you need to take him even if a player with a higher over all ranking is available at another position (which isn't a need)
    • Bryce Young excels at dividing Panthers fans. That seems to be what he's best at.
    • 184 yards game, 61% completion 11 tds 5ints    thats ranks :check notes:  25th in the nfl
