Most important factor for a successful season in 09?

QB play.

D-line

QB play doesn't even have to be elite...just free of stupid mistakes and spreading the ball around a little more.

Dline is crucial, though. plug up that middle and attack from the edges every single play.

i would also add improved secondary. we are going to be playing some pass happy teams next year. that passing game has to get shut down or contained. INTs HAVE to pick up. there were a good few dropped and that can't happen again. Harris has to get back into his FF groove again as well. he was lethal to WRs a couple years ago...he needs to do that again.

if get pressure on the D-line everything will fall into place

we can run the ball all we want but it won't matter if our opponent can score in 2 min intervals like week 17 against NO

back when we had a good D-line we were getting INTs and fumbles like nobodies buisness, i miss those days

if we get D-line pressure we will be elite

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil

Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
