#23 - Eagles - J. Smith - CB

#24 - Saints - Clayborn - DE

#28 - Patriots - Watkins - G

#29 - Bears - Austin - DT

#30 - Jets - Sherrod - OT

#31 - Steelers - Heyward - DE

#32 - Packers - Williams - CB

The guy is good. Nailed a great percentage of the picks, also foresaw guys like Amukamara, Fairley and such falling, and Locker and Ponder going high. It Atl hadn't screwed everything up with a bogus trade, he'd have been even better.

Gosselin has been a legend in this business for a while now.

Where you get the nerve posting some of the biggest laughing stocks of mock drafts on the net up there with him offends me, truly.

You sir, need counseling if something so minor, offends you. I will leave it to you to make a thread about Rick Gosselin, but this thread is about the Top 15. Kthx.

Lout creates thread about the best mock drafters of all time.

Lout links us to a mock draft that looks like this in the top 16:

Luck

Kalil

Barkley

Jonathan Martin

Blackmon

Landry Jones

Morris Claiborne

Coples

Kirkpatrick

Jeffery

Jayron Hosley

Vontaze Burfict

Barrett Jones

Reiff

Dennard

Casey Hayward (which he didn't even spell right)

The second half of the first round is loaded with the players who should have been on the list above.

Like I said, many of the drafts have not been updated for a month. Obviously, things will look nowhere near this after the combine.. which is why most of the top end mock drafters don't release their mock's until after the combine. It seems like you like to troll most threads lately. Accurate assessment?

2011 Draft Grades: Carolina Panthers

May 9, 2011 | Posted by Ryan McCrystal

Three years from now, when the Carolina Panthers have replaced the Lions as the laughingstock of the NFL, we’ll look back on this draft as the turning point for the franchise. GM Marty Hurney and head coach Ron Rivera have hitched their wagons to Cam Newton and their future with the franchise is now directly tied to Newton’s success.

You can say all you want about Newton’s athleticism and arm strength, the only thing that matters is his sense of entitlement. Has a quarterback with an overinflated ego ever been selected in the top 10 and gone on to great success in the NFL? Handing millions of dollars to a guy like Newton before he sets foot on the field is a recipe for failure. He’ll provide some highlights early in his career, just like Vince Young did in Tennessee, but this story isn’t going to have a happy ending for anyone involved.

Boy was draft ace wrong :rolleyes:

    • Bryce has been playing the best ball of his career the last three games IMO. He wasn't the reason we dropped the game in NOLA. Seattle's defense will be his toughest challenge yet this season
    • I'll be at the game Sunday and up until last year I had a perfect attendance record. Now however I have seen us lose to the Chiefs (last year) and the Bills (this year). So we can no longer rely solely on my ability to pound overpriced beers to propel us to a win.
    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
