He finished 3rd behind Colston and Preston Parker of TB with a catch percentage of 97.3. While that sounds awesome, I don't really know how to take this stat considering it has Legadu with a better catching percentage (95.7) than Smitty (95.2).

Anyway, great to put a number with the visual proof of improvement.

LOL at the Falcons WR's at #8, #11 and #13......Also, while this stat most certainly reflects the WR's ability to haul in passes, you can't discount the fact that the QB can throw varying degrees of catchable passes. This might speak to Cam throwing a very well placed ball when it is catchable. All three of our WR's in the top 6? I like it.

theres deffinately something wrong with this numbers, nothing against lafall, but Nanne doesnt have bette rhands than Smith, Meachem or White

I always thought the main complaint against Naanee was the seeming lack of toughness after the catch and maybe not following through or hustling in his route running. I never really thought he was dropping the passes that were on target.

    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
    • According to Scott Fowler, in an article about former Panthers announcer applying for a job with the Ravens... what that job pays, incidentally, when the Ravens posted it publicly they said the salary would be $4,000 to $5,000 per game. An NFL season consists of 20-24 games, including the preseason and potential playoff games, so it will end up somewhere between $80,000 and $120,000 a year. The person hired will be an independent contractor, which is commonplace in the NFL these days for team broadcasters, and also have other radio and TV hosting assignments.  https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article315839800.html
