This hit deserves its own thread

I in all honesty do not know how that was a legal hit, the hit as I see it is helmet to helmet, and the defender lead with his helmet.

I know it's fun watching a Saints player get ran over but that hit as far as I know isn't legal

100% legal. He had completed the catch and established himself as a runner. They only other penalty option would be for spearing which would applies if the the defender uses the "crown of the helmet" per the rule. That was more in the temple area, not the crown of the helmet.

Your season has been over for weeks so I figured you would have moved on to basketball by now. Funny how you guys love to see the Saints lose. I guess when you have never won a superbowl and making the playoffs is just a dream that is all you have to do. Saints own the south and will be the first team in history to host and play in the Superbowl. You can mark that down.

ummm.... Panthers Forum? You're a silly banana!

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
