Yup I am that lonely 1 who voted for the Jazz. Jazz in 6, you just wait and see, D-Will will go off. If it isn't rigged like it was last year when they met in the playoffs, Utah should and will win this series.

Ill wait.. And won't see. If you think the Jazz can win in staples you are crazy. D-Will better go off, but he needs to for the Jazz to have a chance. Lakes in five.

Just look at it this way, if the Jazz can somehow win won at Staples, they will win the series, this series will go atleast 6, because I don't think the Lakers can win at the Energy Solution Arena and their green seats. D-Will will go off, there is no arguing that, but if Boozer can get his act together they have a chance.

Do I really think this is going to happen? No, not really, but to quote the little kid from Angels in the Outfield, "Hey, it could happen..."

So the same Jazz team that has lost 7 out of 9 down stretch by an average of 13 pts. per game and has a 15-26 road record on the season is going to go into the Staples Center where the Lakers are 36-5 on the season and win. I hate the Lakers, but there's no way.

    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
