Does the Giants to superbowl = a run at D-line in the draft?

In the 2008 draft after the giants beats the pats with their great d-line (Tuck, osi, strahan) 5 DL were chosen in the top 10: Long, Dorsey, Harvey, Gholston, Ellis. Lawrence Jackson and kentwan Balmer also went in the first round. Long is the only good player of that group. Could something like this happen again this year? I really think we will see a run at Dl after the top 5 pick.

Everyone has been talking about the value of a great pass rush for years, ever since the rules turned this into a passing only arena league. GMs aren't going to make such a knee jerk reaction based on one team making one game; if they invest into their defensive line it's because they were already well aware of its importance.

Based on what I've seen, team needs. I don't see but 2 DL prospects going in the top 10, maybe 3.

Coples, Perry and possibly Brockers/Still (which ever shows the best at the combine and interviews might jump into the top 10-15. This draft is too heavy on the offensive side of the ball though for more then 2 or 3 to get drafted that high.

I'm starting to like the thought of Coples at 8 or 9. I heard he weighed in at 6'5 280 and just looks jacked. Could end up becoming a top 10 lock.
