it was so nice to watch Tom Brady

I actually felt a little bad for Brady. He is not why they lost tonight. His WR's really let him down. Welker fugged up big time. As soon as he dropped that pass I knew they fuged up.

That was not a good pass. It was too high and behind him.

Had Welker hauled it in, it would have been more credit to him than Brady.

It was about the best pass anyone could make. Brady was about to get blasted and had to rush the throw. No WR should have dropped that.

Really? What tipped you off?

I don't know I guess since he dropped the pass and the Patriots had to give the ball back to Giants. Once the Giants got the ball back they drove down field and scored a touchdown. They had more points than the Patriots at the end of the game so they won.

I feel bad for Robert Kraft, especially because of his wife's death in the offseason.

Yea, I listened to him on the radio this week, listened to present and former players talk about specific things the Krafts did for them and their families. I have much respect for him, and his role in giving us football this season. But it's a great season and he should be proud of how hard his team faught and went out and played.

I agree.

Brady never looked Kenny Phillips off toward the right side of the field. He started heading over to Welkers side when Brady was staring him down.

The ball was supposed to come down on the inside of the number, but because Phillips had slid over, Brady threw a back shoulder fade instead of a seam.

Pass was a bit too high, especially when you factor in Welkers size.

I blame the incomplete pass on Brady moreso than Welker. Brady never looked the safety off, and changed the pass on the fly.

FIFY...

Had Welker caught it, it would have been "great pass by Brady".

I'm not butthurt, I just hate the Pats, and love rubbing it in that they lost. Brady looked like crap and the Giants flat beat them... the score was much closer than it should have been.

his role for giving us football? seriously..all that money on the table and u thought for a sec we weren't gonna have football. the whole lockout business was just a facade. Everyone knew we were gonna have football. no way the league leaves that much money on a table because ppl dont wanna agree.

    • Would absolutely love to have him. I dont think he would require more than a 5th rounder. The biggest thing with his contract is the amount of guaranteed money. As long as they can work out and scenario where the Panthers aren't on the hook for a lot of that, I think it's a no-brainer. The Panthers can come up with $20M at the drop of a hat with restructuring Moton's contract, so there definitely isn't an issue from a money perspective. Jaycee paired with Ramsey along with Mike Jack would give us one of the best CB groups in the league. The one caveat I see is that safety still remains our biggest current weakness. We need a starting caliber S more than CB, simply put. But adding someone like Ramsey would be amazing as long as the compensation made sense. Ramsey could also play for FS snaps also. I also dont understand this nonsense about being seasons away. We have a QB on a rookie deal who was playing at an elite level to end last season. Within reason, now is absolutely the time to make moves like trading for Ramsey.
    • He'd be a huge upgrade for this year, but we're still not going to be contenders with him and I'd rather keep the cap space to roll into next season to spend on a younger player who can be an impact starter for us for the next 3-5 years while we're hoping to contend.
    • Because playoff hockey and regular season hockey aren’t the same thing.  It’s a combination of the game intensity being dialed up with loose officiating.
