The Huddle's Top Ten Video Games

You pick a bunch of sports games, a shitty shooter, name entire series instead of games and can't even properly name Goldeneye? Exquisite taste good sir.

Socom 1 was the poo when it 1st came out, a lot of people dont like 3PS, but that game was the best shooter I ever played. That game IMO was ahead of its time.

Excite Bike- man I just thinking about that games makes we want to play it right now.

Sports games- Come on man, Football, Boxing and Golf games are the poo. Maybe I shouldve listed Mike Tyson's Punch Out. LOL

Golden Eye- Yeah I goofed on that one, but 4 player mode with a bunch of buddies was the poo, I hated when my friends use to pick Oddjob, that little bastard was hard for me to kill at times...

Total Annihilation?

Rise of the Triads?

Neverwinter Nights dude. Game itself is 60+ hours, 3 expansions? 20 hours each. Blaaah. Thats a Bioware game too.

Lords of the Realm 1 and 2

It is also common knowledge that for any top video game list, Goldeneye is generally accepted as the best game of all time, thus it needs no number on a list.

This should be a top 50 games thread.

I know it, sounds crazy...felt weird to type it but I can't stop playing this one. Perhaps it is just the nostalgia coming from the Attitude Era mode.

It's a solid game. Attitude Era mode is excellent. Having Paul Heyman come on board to help with the story lines was a genius idea. My one complaint about the THQ WWE games is the rosters are ALWAYS out of date by the time the game releases and it takes them forever to get the first wave of DLC out.

I have to wait until January for Cesaro and Sandow? Wonder how much longer after that until Ambrose, Rollins and Reigns show up.

Not in a real order, that would take far too much of my time and I'm not taking the easy way out and counting any game series as a single game.

1. Pokemon Red/Blue (ok I guess this one is kind of like counting a series.)

2. Counter Strike: Source

3. StarCraft

4. Final Fantasy VII

5. Diablo II

6. Metal Gear Solid

7. Street Fighter IV

8. Super Smash Brothers: Melee

9. Fallout 3

10. Mega Man X

Had to update mine to include Mega Man X

    • I think we have high hopes for Etienne this year. They were pretty diliberate drafting him last year and were purposeful bringing him along slowly. Especially with two solid vets in front of him in '25.
    • Icky will be fortunate to come back to play RT or Guard. Very slim chance of him being able to handle LT. And as you mentioned he was more of a RT anyway.  That injury he has is nasty.  We will be in the best spot to determine what he is capable of after rehab.
    • I would venture that this is the most probable path for us to explore. I would wonder: A - Would Icky be open to it and the potential money lost annually for being paid as a RT vs. LT? B - Would the transition to RT be as seamless as we hope it would be? Icky's playing style always made me wonder how he stayed at LT for so long in his career. His strong suit is run blocking and Freeling's is pass blocking. As long as we don't sacrifice the new guy to appease a vet that had only one truly good year at LT and a few mediocre-at-best, I'm fine with whatever we do.
