Also, keep an eye out on my boy Tydreke Powell. Could be a late-round steal at DT. Yes, I'm a fresh UNC grad, but by no means am I homer. I really think he's gonna be good at the next level. Outstanding year two years ago, subpar last year, but I think he has plenty of tools.

And, our sons went to daycare together, lol.

Tampa need a RB, DT,OL, and a CB. IDK what type of defensive system they will be running but they have people to play CB but no one to play DT and RB is a gaping hole even with all the RBs they have drafted. CB is def an option for them but they need offense more and on defense a DT could help a whole lot more then CB. Its just a scenario though and you can never tell how drafts work out.

What?

They have Gerald McCoy, drafted two years ago. Brian Price, drafted two years ago. Roy Miller, who played in all 16 games last season. They have two other DTs who either played games last season, or was on the roster from the practice squad. Then, they have seven DEs on their team, any of which could be use in a DT position.

They have 3 CBs listed on their roster, which doesn't include Ronde Barber, since he is an UFA. Aqib Talib is an unknown. Who knows whether or not he will go through all of his legal troubles, as well as how long he can stay out of trouble again. One of the other CBs played 16 games last season (Biggers), and the other one has no data available, which I assume means he didn't play much, or any, last season.

And I agree that TB needs a RB, but the teams in the NFL are starting to realize that RBs aren't that hard to get in the 2nd or 3rd round, especially when you're selecting in the Top 5-7 of each round, which the Bucs will be doing.

Also, for the people saying trade back, who would be willing to trade up to our position? Since none of the quality QBs declared (Barkley, namely), there isn't anything really worth trading up for. Claiborne could be worth it, for a team that really needed a CB, but he'll be gone long before we pick. I seriously doubt we can trade back, because there's not much to trade back for.

Also, after watching today, damn if Poe doesn't look like the best DT in the draft. He's fast (relatively) and he's fuging gigantic.

Here's so quotes on/from Poe from PFT:

Poe put up 44 repetitions of 225 pounds on the bench press, making him the strongest player at any position. Poe’s mark tops Michigan center David Molk by three reps.

“I’m doing everything,” Poe said. “It’s just competition. I like it. I like it all. I’ve been working out for it and just thought it’d be a good idea to do it all.”

“I see myself as someone who can rush the passer a lot more than people think,” Poe said. “I am used to playing nose tackle and the 3-technique and I’ve played some 5-technique. I’m pretty comfortable anywhere on the defensive line.”
