People aren't talking about diamonds in the rough that might be going from undrafted to drafted because of their combines or from a late-round pick to a second-day pick. No, we're talking about players we're already familiar with, first-round picks. When we pick someone else that isn't Dontari Poe, I promise you there are going to be shrieks of anger from people that take the combine so so seriously now when they wouldn't have put much stock into it at all before it started being televised.

I'm not championing anybody this year. The lone draft thread I made was many months ago when I wanted us to pick Devon Still. Now I honestly don't care that much who we pick. I do think people are putting way too much into combine stuff over how players performed in college. I said as much this time last year when Cam had a poor throwing day at the combine and people were ripping him to shreds on the Huddle.
