This is my second to last mock, enjoy.

Carolina Panthers 2012 NFL Draft Selections

*Dallas trades their 1st, 3rd, and 5th round picks for Carolina's 9th pick overall and selects David Decastro*

Round 1: Fletcher Cox DT, Mississippi St.

I believe that we will try to trade out of the 9th pick, we've done it before and I think that we like a lot of players like Fletcher Cox that could be picked up in a trade down that involved acquiring more picks. You just can't go wrong with a great defensive linemen talent like Fletcher Cox, I think he's the safest pick at defensive linemen and will bring an immediate impact to our defense.

Round 2: Jayron Hosely CB, Virginia Tech

Jayron Hosely has been one of my favorite cornerback prospects for a while now. He had a great combine and proved himself to be a high 2nd round pick. Jayron's a guy we can bring in and have compete with Hogan and Captain for the #2 corner spot.

Round 3 (from DAL): Bruce Irvin OLB, West Virginia

Bruce Irvin is a very solid 2nd-3rd Round outside linebacker prospect that we could find ourselves in a position to draft with the 3rd rounder from Dallas. I say we go defense with our first three selections. If we were to land a trio like this, the rest of draft could be luxury picks with potential starters on defense now at DT/CB/OLB.

Round 4: Ladarius Green TE, Louisiana Lafayette

This is my first luxury pick, and it's only if Shockey retires. But I love Ladrius Green, he clocked a 4.5 in the 40 at the combine. Reminds me of like a Vernon Davis/Kellen Winslow kinda guy that all the great offense's have these days.

Round 5: Tramain Thomas FS, Arkansas

I had this guy in my last mock. I just think we'll bring a guy in to compete with Martin, maybe we'll address it earlier though or in free agency.

Round 5 (from DAL): Tim Benford WR, Tennessee Tech

This is a guy I heard we liked, I don't know if it was at the shrine game or not but I know I read it somewhere. We also heard that we want to draft a wide receiver, who knows what round but hopefully it's not too early as I don't see it really being a huge need. Benford can play though, could be the next big time small school prospect.

Round 6: Coty Sensabaugh CB, Clemson

Sensabaugh is a guy I've kept my on for a while now. I think he has the tools to be great, ran like a 4.3 or a 4.4 at the combine. We always seem to get two of something in the draft, like last year it was two DT's the year before it was two WR's. Maybe he can be another guy like Captain and make an impact even if it's on special teams.

Round 7: Darron Thomas QB, Oregon

I like Russell Wilson but I think he'll go earlier than the 7th, and thats just too early for a backup in my opinion. Darron Thomas has the size, experience, and leadership to be a solid backup for Cam. They run the same style and you know they would be homies.

HATE ON IT

So you are saying Buffalo has the hots for DeCastro?

Nah but I know cowboy fans would love to have Decastro and they are a team that isn't afraid to trade down for a player they like enough.

Don't take the trade so seriously, I'm just basically stating I believe we will try to trade out of that spot with a team picking in the teens.
