Life must suck if you are Andrew Luck

Colston is 28 and Jackson is 29, so they're not long term answers either. Either would be very good short term solutions, though. Maybe they're hoping to get a playmaker at #34. Maybe they'll draft Luck then give the Steelers next year's #1 for Wallace if they can (which would be kinda stupid, since it's very likely to be a high 1st). FA pool is pretty dry since all the franchise tags have been applied. Manningham is another possibility, but I doubt anyone would consider him even a remote possibility as a #1.

If you give them a 4-5 year deal, it runs through 32 or 33 and 33 or 34 respectively. Those are still productive years for good receivers. Especially, guys that are 6-4 and 6-5 respectively.

The Colts just released 90% of their offensive production. Cams records will be safe with the existing supporting cast

we still don't know what the redskins are going to look like...of course i'm not sure that they have all that great of an offensive cast in place right now.

they are going to have to hit it big in FA.

I told Andrew. 'Son, you're fugging up in a major way' when he didn't come out last year. 'Carolina would have been a great town for you.' Now, he must replace a living legend Colt fans will still be able to watch every Sunday slinging the rock for someone else. Luck will be held to Peyton's standard, worse, he'll be held to Cam's standard when he reset the bar for rookie QBs in the NFL.

Truly, barring Pro Bowl level QB play Luck is right in the middle of the Kobiyashi Maru.

Sucks to be him.

Enjoy mediocrity Andrew.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
