What is different besides a few tackle animations?

Looks good but cutscenes have no impact on the gameplay. It would be better to see the first person perspective to guage any improvements.

The new versions have been horribly programmed. I haven't played 09 in a while, but the game would freeze up every few games, so I disagree they are getting better. They are more worried about pushing product out the door quickly than they are with QC.

The only thing I'm excited about is the Head Coach 09 developers are working on Franchise mode this year... Head Coach was an outstanding game for football fans.

I'm hoping they fix the mechanics of the game so blocking isn't stupid, defenders can take up more than one blocker (NT), and playing man coverage does not equal automatic touchdown for the offense.
