Anime..

I was into anime in my teens. Most of the ones I'd still go back and watch you have probably seen. My favorite is still Princess Mononoke for movis and Evangelion for series.

If you haven't seen Jin-Roh (movie) or Blue Gender they are definitely worth it.

That Jin-Roh one looks pretty sweet. The Brigade soldiers remind me a lot of the Killzone soldiers. Hah. Thanks for the suggestions.

I also, lied, the last anime I saw was Summer Wars, not so long ago. I used to keep up with Naruto and Bleach, but they started getting very repetitive and I stopped watching. I haven't the slightest Idea what's going on with that anymore. I read the manga more often than watching the series anyway

I'm on and off with Anime but the last one I finished in its entirety was Hajime no Ippo(The Fighting Spirit) which is a boxing anime. It was pretty good and interesting. Kind of makes you want to get a heavy bag. Other than that, do you have any preferences? Dub/Sub?

Never liked animes, always thought they were lame until I came across Miyazaki. I got into his movies for like a month, watching one every few days. I didn't even like them that much, but I was drawn back for some reason.

Spirited Away specifically really captivated me.

Anyone wanna suggest anything that I can watch that is similar to Miyazaki films?

And as for anime series, my best friend watches a lot of anime, and he does the whole Full Metal Alchemist, One Piece, Bleach kinda deal.

He also raves abut Avatar, but I dunno if that counts as real anime. There's a brand new spinoff of Avatar too, about the next avatar. I watched an episode of that with him, seemed alright.

I dunno if this helps at all, but I'm just tossing out some of the ones I've heard of.

Yu Yu Hakusho is probably my favorite, but it's definitely hard to watch now because the animation is so antiquated.

Read or Die is really good, if you haven't watched it yet.

Mushishi is also really, really good. Definitely worth a watch.

Here's a couple from a couple different genres that I could think of from the top of my head that were pretty good. A lot of these fit into more than one genre, nearly all of them have some sort of comedy element. (I can't watch super serious poo). The top 3 in each row are the ones I absolutely recommend. The last 2 in each row are kind of niche ones that you may or may not like. (Very hit or miss)

edit: I tried to "copy and paste from word" to get a table and it fuged up when I posted. D:

    • I have said if you out even an average QB into the offense we are averaging 25+ points a game. But that will never happen with Bryce under center.
    • The defense is 28 out of 32 in salary cap allocation for 2025. We have a ton of resources tied up in the offense including the highest paid OL in the league multiple 1st round WR's and multiple recent draft picks across the offense at TE and RB and we have two 1000 yard backs. Bryce and company couldn't get past Tyler Shough and his crew in 2 games. That's all there is to it. You can spin it and put the entire onus on the defense to your heart's desire it doesn't change the fact that this is an OFFENSIVE team now. If you want to argue that we should revert back to a defensive identity as we have been in the past which has brought us success then I will agree with you on that. But as it stands the onus is on the offense because that is where we have invested through the nose. Dave Canales and Bryce Young need to do a hell of a lot better than they have against the rebuilding Saints who without us should only have 2 wins this season.
    • Bryce is not trending up. He is the same QB he has always been. Bottom of the league in most categories.  If Canales thinks he can build a contender with Bryce then he is a bigger idiot then I thought.  Offense next year will have the same issues and be just as inconsistent as it was this year.  We have seen Bryce’a ceiling and it is 175 yards a game and that is not a QB you keep around as your starter. That is barely a backup.
