Sideline Scouting Seven Round Mock

Over at Sideline Scouting we released a seven round mock draft today with explanations for every first round pick. Scroll over the tab “mock draft results” to see specific results for the Panthers. Tabs towards the top of each page to scroll through each round.

What do you guys think of the picks we gave Carolina?

A few surprise picks, I know. But the NFL Draft is always a surprise. Overall thoughts?

I think Tannehill goes to Dolphins, Cleveland will roll with McCoy one more year in hopes they can land a better established QB prospect next season if he fails or find out he's actually worth hanging on to if he doesn't.

I've seen Coples mocked to us, as well as Dontari Poe, but I'm not certain who I would rather have. Fletcher Cox looks like a good possible pick, although #9 is rather high.

I would be shock getting Stills and Coples but if that happens. I would go Cb in the 4th instead of wr and we need to come out of this draft with atleast 2 LB. Still the 1st 2 picks would be crazy. I would love a trade up into the 3rd to get a CB.

If we don't get a CB in the first two rounds, forget it. Wait for next years crop. Roll with Hogan or whoever emerges.

Yes CB falls off considerably after the first two rounds.

I'll say this much, the cat has some serious football speed. Haven't seen too many linebackers that can recover to the pitch man on an option. . .

I agree with getting 1 in the 1st 2 rounds. I just said it it fell like that then maybe see who the best in the 3rd and maybe get a trade going for that.

As long as Capt ass doesn't start again I'm happy.

No way the Rams pass on Blackmon. They already got Finnegan. Now they need Bradford to have a weapon. He has little to none at the moment.

Yeah, I'd much rather see Smitty burning Claiborne twice a year than Richardson running over Hardy.
