Henne Given Sunday

Recommended Posts

Hi guys! I am "Phinisher" a obvious pun to "finisher" and "Phins" considering I am a gigantic Dolfan.

I moved to NC from West Palm Florida in 2007. Played a bit of college football at Wingate (for a spring) and decided to stay here.

I love the panthers as my #2 because they rarely play the Dolphins and I want to support my hometown team.

You also may know me as "Henne Given Sunday" but he is no longer a Dolphin, so that doesnt make sense.

Other considerations for names were : "Whor for Moore", "Trim my Bush" and "Eat Lard with Garrard"

But going back to my roots on here is where I decided to stay. I will see some of you at the Phins/Panthers week 2 preseason game. Hope we can tailgate!!!!!

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
