Patriots Give Up Their Two First Round Picks And A 3Rd.

they will trade up to get Whitney Mercilus or Melvin Ingram, probably ahead of the Jets so their rival doesn't get one of them which would take a 1st, 2nd, and possibly an extra 2nd or 2 3rd round picks. with their other first, they will trade down and accumulate picks that they lost with the first trade.

for our first and 4th. Then we get

27th - Stephon Gilmore

31st - Stephen Hill

40th - Chandler Jones

93rd - Sean Spence

Cream....

I love it, I think that our 1st is worth their two 1st, Ive been feeling for awhile that we should trade to them and get two 1st rounders, that would be 3 picks in the 1st 40 picks, can't go wrong with that.......

If we got those four I would die. All can be day one starters aside from Spence who in my opinion needs to gain some weight. He reminds me of TD.

I totally agree man, Chandler Jones MMA training will help a lot at his position, I remember watching Clay Mathews training during the lockout, he was training with MMA trainers and it made me think , how come more NFL players don't train using MMA trainers, i watched the whole philosophy behind the benefit of NFL players using their techniques, faster hands, using leverage and strength conditioning,

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
