Had Two Chances At Eagle Yesterday At Stonebridge

First had a 15 foot putt left on a 515 yard Par 5. Ended with a birdie.

Second chance was on 18, a 480 yard par 5. Had about a 30 footer for eagle and ended up with par.

Damned putter.

Stonebridge is a pretty nice course by the way. First time playing it. Down in Waxhaw.

I've putted for one many times but never got one. A buddy of mine once got two eagles in a row. Hes just your average nobody like the rest of us out there. The odds of that happening have to be astronomical.

Shot 79 at my home course yesterday... it's pretty easy but still I hit the ball consistently... got a new driver two weeks ago, Taylormade Superfast Burner 2.0 and man I am crushing it... probably added 25 yards to my drives... I'm hitting 5 and 6 irons into 500 yard par 5's now.

My putting still sucks though... got to work on it...

This may sound ignorant, but where in Waxhaw is stonebridge. I live in Marvin and mostly play at either Firethorne or the Links because they are close. I have heard of Stonebridge but just don't know how to get there. Also, how much is it to ride?

Off hwy 75. I think its closer to Monroe though.

Nice! Sorry you couldn't close out, but nothing wrong with a birdie. I'm fortunate enough to say I am lucky to have an ace to my name, but I came an inch from an albatross (double eagle) on #1 at Charlotte Golf Club that I would trade in a second for that hole in one.

It's east of Waxhaw. You have to turn off 75 and then head about 5 miles east on some 2 lane road. Think it is called Old Waxhaw Highway? I know I passed the Waxhaw museum. Greens were in great shape. Beer cart girl was a 10+.
