Again we have 12 guys on the roster.

Gary williams coming back from injury . Zack Williams last year draft pick.

Lee Zembia the steal of the draft last year.and 10 other guys.

Lee Ziemba is a 7th rd flyer on a guy. Not a first round grade prospect.

The guys you listed are JAG's. Amini is a top prospect at his position.

Most are camp bodies to fight it out...hoping to find some depth. None are stud prospects.

You are better than tjis

Then maybe we should cut some of those body and get some Pass Rush.

I say again if the draft keeps going this way I hope Marty is aleast making a call to Andre Carter.

Most of those bodies will not make it out of camp.

I agree with needing a DE. I am good with CJ and Hardy. But our backups are all undersized. I trust Riveta on defense. He has had top defenses everywhere he has coached.

I also believe this is a couple of year project. We are building something...not a player away situation.

That's not what our player want to hear.

I'm sorry I forgot Ron Edwards is f'n Warren Sapp mixed with Mean Joe Green. He will solve all our problems. You're right what was I thinking?

What some people do not understand is this--LB was a huge weakness. We had no help. You do not want to let the youth at DT develop--you think we can draft superstars and ignore other needs and that will fix the problem. We addressed our 2 biggest needs--LB and G. If you think Sapp and Greene were effective without LBs behind them, then you are sad. Or perhaps you think if we ignore things like 3 ACLs in a row and an Achilles surgery, they will go away. Just hit "reset."

Just about every rookie DT sucks. Ours did last year. Now they are ready to mature. Your solution? Bring in more rookie DTs and cut the ones we are developing!!! Do not have time to educate you.

Cam Johnson of UVA is still out there.

We were fine at OL by all accounts heading into that draft...

Yep. We had signed Justin Hartwig to a good sized contract just one year prior to drafting Kalil. Center was not a need, and as I recall Kalil sat the bench for most of that season (till Hartwig got hurt).

Bell had to replace Schwartz last year and did a decent job even though he was not drafted. Schwartz is now gone and so is Wharton. Where is the depth now if Bell gets injured or anyone else on the o-line is put on IR.

Bell was what we had. He kind of sucked.

Still LOLing @ people bragging on him tearing it up against 160 lbs. defensive lineman in DII.

And again, this pick was so necessary because our OL was so horrible last year, even with backups... They were so horrible, they barely allowed us to be one of the top offenses in the NFL. So, we definitely needed more "protection" for Cam.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
